In accordance with the San Francisco's Department of Public Health's COVID-19 Protocols, masks must be worn when you enter the building and in all public areas. Please check in with your Event Coordinator for the most up to date guidelines. From corporate receptions to nonprofit galas, and civic celebrations to lavish weddings, San Francisco City Hall creates an unforgettable backdrop for the memories of a lifetime.
City Hall is available for full evening rentals on weekdays and weekends. The building remains open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, though areas can be privatized for special event use during those hours. Due to regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Supervisors, evening events are not possible on Tuesdays.
Standard access for evening rentals begins at 2:00 pm for the North Light Court and 4:00 pm for all other areas. Earlier access may be purchased for an additional rental fee when possible. All events must conclude by 12:00 midnight and load-out by 2:00 am.
